Exteriors > Historic Restoration of Mount Pleasant Rowhouse

This historic rownhouse was restored to its original character. Decades of paint was covered with a five color scheme using European masonry paint. Shutters added mid-century were removed. Masonry piers had to be re-built, as well as the entire porch roof, which was then clad in copper. Dormers were made weather-tight and new slate was installed to the mansard roof. The main house roof is new tin with an energy-efficient white coating (not pictured) that reduces passive solar gain in hot weather.
